It’s another end-of-the-week, and I want to share with you the gems that I’ve run across on the web where people are talking and writing about Blogger Outreach and Blogger Engagement.
Some of these article pieces are targeted specifically to clients who want to grow their businesses using bloggers and some of them focus on showing bloggers how they can build a solid presence and get noticed by companies. They’re all good articles, so I hope you enjoy them. Here goes:
- This article over at Business 2 Community talks about a 2013 study done by Technorati which touts the importance of blogs and their relationships to online influencers and how they all affect purchasers. That’s a good point made because how many of us have ever purchased something based on the opinion or recommendation of someone we know and trust? This is why it’s very important for bloggers to hone their craft and write, write, write about their field from an expertise point-of-view.
- Bloggers are the new influencers! This is a concept that is steadily growing and reaching out to bloggers is going to require that everything is viewed from that vantage point. This article written by Rachel Brady does a great job of pointing that out, amongst other key areas needed for blogger success. Understanding that bloggers are influencers will help clients attract more focused, targeted bloggers instead of general bloggers and it will help bloggers understand what specific things they are to do when they’re performing they’re tasks.
- Another great article written by Deepak Sakhuja also over at Business 2 Community talks about Blogger Outreach and Branding. Deepak lists four crucial areas to concentrate on to maximize any blogger outreach campaign. I especially like the ticked item, “Know Your Blogger” because sending out mass, impersonal emails does nothing to spark anything valuable or resourceful in your audience.
What other articles or social media posts have you come across this week in blogger outreach? If you have an article or link you’d like to share, just email me at blogging [at] blogdash [dot][com] and let me know what you find.
Have a great weekend!
