Welcome to our 31st week of round-up articles meant to help you discover why blogger outreach is becoming an important part of more and more social media campaigns. We’ve searched the web for the most interesting blogger outreach articles and again we were amazed to see how this topic is creating an ever growing online buzz.

As usual, we give the best posts for this week:

  1. Tia Peterson is our first choice for this week. The first of the two articles she is sharing reveals the basics of blogger outreach. Learn more about the most popular blogger outreach tactic and the benefits of using it, from Tia’s blog post.
  2. We’re sure you remember mentioning an article from the guys over at Nosh on how to approach food bloggers in a previous roundup post. This is the second article that caught our attention as they share 7 Better Ideas for Pitching Food Bloggers, a useful article that should help you adjust your blogger outreach campaign especially if you’re pitching food bloggers.
  3. Our number 3 choice is Jesse from !NVENT. In her own words “blogger outreach is becoming an increasingly common part of digital strategies” and we subscribe to this idea. Check out her article and learn the 5 Golden Rules of Blogger Outreach .
  4. Last, but not least is our old acquaintance, Scott Hepburn from Media Emerging. We found Scott’s article to be a good incentive for those of you that don’t know yet what are the benefits of using blogger outreach as part of your online campaign. Read all about the advantages a business can have from focusing on developing blogger relations in his article.

That’s it for this week. Enjoy reading the articles, learn from the authors’ experiences and share your thoughts.

If you know of a good article, or you’ve written an article that you think should be included in our weekly blogger outreach round-ups, email me at chris[at] .

Hey there – Thanks again for including the post from Nosh and my other article. I am doubly honored!

I’ve got to reach out to Scott and Jesse. I agree with Jesse’s words about blogger outreach as well. And I think that as the landscape of blogging changes – with more and more blogs turning into little Mashable’s, we’re going to see blogger outreach coming around to a form of PR that is simply more effective and widespread than traditional PR, but with the same principles in place. I think bloggers like to think of themselves as professionals with an ethical standard. They build the audience and want to be treated with respect and admiration for doing so. Brands have a goldmine in blogger outreach if they can learn to harness the opportunities that come with it.

@Tia You’re most welcome. I definitely agree – blogger outreach is a goldmine. Businesses just need to understand how to properly work with bloggers. Reading a couple of posts before you actually engage with a blogger could make the difference between actually working with him or be treated just like any other spammer.
