Blogger Outreach Roundup #12

Welcome to the 12th week of our round-up articles that will help you build up your blogger outreaching efforts the right way. This week we’ve moved from all of the do’s and don’ts that we’ve shared with you in our previous posts.  Now it would be a good time for you to see the big picture when it comes to planning your social media campaign.

Returning to the basic idea of why you should be reaching out to bloggers in the first place, we present you this week’s blog posts:

1. Sweta Patel – the CEO and Marketing Strategist at shares with us all the right reasons why reaching out to bloggers can give a plus to your business reputation. Have you ever wondered what reaching out to bloggers can do for you and your business? If so, then her article Blogger Outreach Can Benefit Your Business might be just what you need to convince yourself.

2. If you thought about how your social media campaign should catch the blogger’s attention, Daryl Ohrt from Brand Flakes for Breakfast has a very good example for you. The article How to get a blogger’s attention is, in our opinion, the perfect example of what you can achieve if you do your homework right. It isn’t just about “the gift” you’ve sent, it’s also about how you offer it to your targeted bloggers.

3. Next in line is Jon Tucker with the 5 Steps to Find Bloggers Who Will Promote Your Products. As a business, you know why you should start reaching out to bloggers and how to approach them. We believe it would be helpful knowing how to find the ones that will care about your story as well.

4. Last, but not least, comes Chris Abraham from Biznology. He shares with us in his article Taking 50 million as seriously as a WSJ reporter, the reasons why you should dig deeper than the A-list bloggers when planning a social media outreach campaign. Of course that pitching the top 25-50 bloggers is less time consuming and would seem like the right solution for you. However the effort put into a deeper research might turn the odds in your favour on the social media battleground.
