The Secret to Connecting with Influencers

The Secret to Connecting with Influencers

Welcome to the 127th week of round-ups! With the weekend just around the corner, we thought we’d keep it light and let you in on an itty-bitty secret when connecting with bloggers – sincerity.

More often than not, companies are so focused on getting their message out, they forget to put themselves in the mind of a blogger. Before connecting with a blogger, you should ask yourself questions like “How would a blogger like to be approached?” and “How can I be more personable?”

1.  The first article we found is short, sweet and to the point. The Power of Being Sincere written by Rajat Taneja simply states how sincerity goes way back to the Renaissance period, where customers were accustomed to receiving authentic works of art.

2.  The next article entitled Blogger Outreach from a Blogger’s Point of View includes an in-depth interview with a high profile fashion blogger who explains the dos and don’ts of blogger outreach emails. Written by Lucy Stewart, this one’s a definite must-read!

3.  Our final article of the week explains the blogger outreach process in steps. Danny Ashton includes one very important action which is building relationships with influencers. 6 Steps for Creating a Scalable Repeatable Blogger Outreach Process will give you everything you need to get contacts repeatedly and successfully.

These are the articles we wanted to share with you this week.  Enjoy reading them, learn from the authors experiences and share your thoughts.
