Blogger Outreach Roundup

Here at BlogDash, we love us some good blogger outreach focused content.  There are a lot of other really smart people out there sharing their experiences and ideas around blogger outreach, and PR in general.

We write this blog to teach you why blogger outreach is so valuable, and provide you with the best ways to approach it.  Seeing as how other there are many other bloggers helping to do the same thing, every week, we’re going to round up some of the best content we can find around the web about blogger and media outreach, and share them with you here.

Here we go with the first weekly roundup!

  1. One of this week’s most interesting blog posts comes from Julie Diaz Asper at Gigcoin with the post Blogger Outreach: How to Get Started. This article is a 4 step guide to start your own blogger outreach “campaign”.  It breaks it down by tools, metrics, engagement and pitching correctly, with useful tips for each area.
  2. Karthik S writes a 7 steps process to find top bloggers helping us search and identify the influential bloggers.  If you’re looking to find the best bloggers in your target audience, this is a solid guide.
  3. Another useful article comes from Arik C. Hanson who wrote a post called “8 blogger outreach no-nos to avoid at all costs”, a small guide to help you avoid unpleasant replies from bloggers.  These are mistakes that others have made in the past so you don’t have to.  You’ve been warned!
  4. Arik‘s such a smart guy, that we we’re going to share another post from him: 5 best practices when writing pitch emails. In this post, Arik gives some pointers on how to properly and effectively pitch a blogger.  He even gives real examples to put things in context for you.

That’s it for this week!  If you know of a good article, or you’ve written an article that you think should be included, email us at  admin@blogdash.com

Hiya, I am really glad I’ve found this info. Today bloggers publish only about gossips and internet and this is really frustrating. A good website with interesting content, that is what I need. Thanks for keeping this web site, I will be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can not find it.
