Pitching Bloggers: Be Relevant or Don’t Even Bother

That’s what almost every blogger will say when asked about blogger outreach. And they’re right, when trying to earn media it is very important to target those suited for your industry not as a favor to them, but as a favor to you.

No matter how many followers a blogger might have, you’ll gain nothing if your field doesn’t match their interests. Not to mention that the blogger may not even bother answering to your pitch.
