Here we are in our 15th week of round-up articles meant to help you discover why blogger outreaching is a valuable resource for a lot of businesses. For this week, we’d like to offer you the chance to see what other social media professionals think about reaching out to bloggers.
The blogosphere has been generous with us on this matter, as we found some useful blog post that we’d like to share.
So, here are this week’s posts:
1. Lori Luechtefeld from iMedia Connection share with us the things that are overlooked when a business is approaching mom bloggers. The article Critical mom blogger realities that you’re overlooking is actually a preview of the presentation that Debra Aho Williamson will hold at the iMedia iMoms Summit. For those of you that don’t have the time to get there, this might come as a valuable resource.
2. Heather Whaling from prTini comes next with a Q&A article with Erica Swallow – Associate Editor at Mashable. The title How to Pitch Mashable: Tips from an Associate Editor says it all. If you’re thinking or planning to do it, then we’re sure this article would be most welcomed.
3. The 3rd blog post we came across this week comes from Jacquelynn Mendez. When discussing about social media, people typically think about Facebook, Twitter, Youtube or Foursquare. According to her article Blogger Outreach: PR of the Social Media Century these are important, but there is one more that is missing from this list. Yes, you guessed it – the Blogosphere!
4. The last blog post we focused for this week comes from Aaron Huckett. From our previous round ups we saw what the challenges of reaching out to bloggers are. Of course we mainly focused on what businesses are doing right or wrong in their blogger outreaching campaigns. However, this article reveals the other side of the process. What do PR execs think about working with bloggers? Be sure to read A PR’s View of Blogger Outreach to learn more about it.
These are the articles we wanted to share with you this week. We hope you had as much fun reading the articles as we had rounding them up.
