Postponing Blogging Contest

Postponing Blogging Contest

Our blog contest began on December 1st. Since then, we’ve been blogging and talking about the contest both here on the blog and through our social media outlets. Unfortunately, we’re going to have to postpone the contest until a later date.

Although we’ve had a few bloggers who have participated in the contest, we found that there’s a lot of confusion about submitting your blog posts, what’s acceptable, loading images, etc. There was just so much confusion we thought it would be best to postpone it until we get everybody up to speed on what’s acceptable for a blog post.

For the few bloggers who did participate and submit your blogs, your submissions will still be a part of the contest when we re-launch it. You won’t lose your place or standing.

We really want to make things exciting but fair for the contest, which is why we decided to postpone it for now. By fair, I mean we really want all bloggers to understand about post submissions so that everyone is able to put forth their very best work.

In the upcoming weeks, I’ll be providing more posts and articles to help you submit better quality posts and even how to make more money through Blogdash. I’ll also give you advanced notice for when we’re ready to re-launch the contest.

Thanks to everyone who did submit their work, and feel free to continue to blog for the site as a gust poster. Also feel free to contact me at bridget [at] blogdash [dot][com] if you have any other questions.

Thank you all!

Picking a prize might seem simple enough, but you should take some time to think about your prize to ensure you choose one that will help to make your blog contest successful. The more exciting your prize is, the more buzz that will naturally grow around it. This could be analytical. The simplest blog contest entry method is to ask people to leave a comment on your blog contest announcement post.
